Question Hour
When I began writing one motto I always wanted to follow was to present women in original shades. I wanted their personalities to reach out to you, even if we were discussing their love story at the crux. I wanted readers to identify themselves in my books. My Books: 2022
Undoubtedly ‘Love Contract’ scaled the charts effortlessly since its release with book sales, KENP reads, ratings & everything in 2022.
But there were other winners around the corner too.
‘It was Always You’ won Maya & me a lot of love from readers who directly reached out to me with their thoughts. Also in book sales, ratings and KENP reads it showed growth gradually.
‘Forever’ was consistent in its run since release and was on top shelf until these two books came along. Nevertheless it continues to grow with each day and is now inching for the 100 ratings club. Fingers crossed.
‘Journey to the Altar’, my debut novel was rediscovered this year and has been recieving so much love from readers.
‘Burning Hearts’ & ‘You are my Person’ hasn’t performed to its potential yet but they remain my best works and the few who have come across them have only given me great appreciation to go ahead with stories I believe in.

Random question
You might think what a silly question. But as a romantic fiction writer, this is one question that always had me confused.
Maturity makes me believe it is always better to accept the one who loves us over the one whom we love. In Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, many say that Anjali made a mistake by not choosing Aman over Rahul. I felt so too.
But recently someone asked me would Anjali have loved Aman even if Rahul didn’t come back? She was so stiff, so unlike herself around him. Would she have felt chemistry when Aman kissed her? Would she have loved him at some point? What if it always remained a compromise on her part? Would it be fair to Aman too?
Last day in a discussion a friend said in love marriages you at least know there is desire & chemistry. While in arranged marriages maybe you will never even enjoy a beautiful kiss. Not always but there are many couple who deal with lacklustre sexual life, more so in arranged marriages.
Now go back to that question and tell me can you give a simple, straight answer to it? I’m curious to know your thoughts on it.
